What it is
WAYSCloud Shield is your security control plane. Instead of managing separate tools for IP reputation, DNS filtering, threat detection, and email authentication, Shield combines them into one integrated service.
Shield consists of four pillars:

IP Intelligence
Query any IP address for reputation, geolocation, and network identity.
Key features:
- Threat score (0–100) with severity levels
- Geolocation (country, city, coordinates)
- ASN, ISP, and organization lookup
- Detection flags: VPN, proxy, Tor, datacenter, botnet
- Live threat feed with recently reported IPs
- Country and ASN intelligence views
Use it for: Login protection, fraud detection, log enrichment, SOC dashboards.
IP Intelligence is also available as a standalone service with its own free tier and canonical API.
DNS Shield
Protective DNS that blocks known malicious domains before they reach your users.
Key features:
- Automatic blocking of malware, phishing, and botnet C2 domains
- Category-based filtering policies
- Custom blocklists and allowlists
- DNS query logging and analytics
- DNS Insights with query patterns, WHOIS, and ASN risk analysis
- Configurable endpoints for teams and locations
How it works:
Point your DNS resolvers to the Shield DNS endpoints. All queries are evaluated in real time against threat intelligence. Blocked queries return NXDOMAIN — no malicious content is loaded.
Dashboard: Configure policies, review blocked queries, and manage lists at my.wayscloud.services/shield/dns.
Threat Monitor
Centralized threat event collection with AI-powered analysis.
Key features:
- Connect up to 10 threat sources (Pro) or unlimited (Enterprise)
- Supported source types: web servers, firewalls, SSH, mail servers, databases, load balancers, IoT gateways, and more
- Real-time event scoring and categorization
- AI analysis for threat summary and recommended actions (Pro+)
- Custom blocklists for manual IP blocking
- Event history with filtering and export
